Meher Dress
Woven across three gentle shades — Mogra Safed, a soft off-white; Surajmukhi Peel, a warm sunflower yellow; and Jamuni, a deep plum purple — the Meher Dress carries the same quiet handwork in every colourway, each one catching its hue a little differently in the light.
Along each sleeve, a vine unfurls entirely by hand — embroidered leaf by leaf, blossoming into delicate bell flowers worked in muted violet and sage thread, as though lifted from a garden in early bloom. Tiny pearl beads are hand-embellished along the trailing stem, catching the light with each small, considered placement. The same pearl detailing traces the V-neckline, framing the face in soft texture. No two flowers fall quite the same way — each is placed by hand, patiently, thread by thread.
The bodice is finished with fine hand-pleated pintucks that release into a graceful, tiered silhouette, cinched at the shoulder and left to move freely through the skirt.
Woven in 100% Chanderi mul, a handloom fabric prized for its lightness and gentle sheen, the Meher Dress carries the kind of craft that can only be made by hand — unhurried, and made with love, under the label of Saloni Mathur.
